Privacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026
TallyKid is designed so that we never see your data. This policy explains what that means.
What TallyKid stores
The names, seasons, games, stats, notes and photos you enter are stored on your device, inside the app. If you are signed in to iCloud, TallyKid also keeps a copy in your private iCloud database so your data stays in sync across your own devices. That copy belongs to your Apple Account and is managed by Apple; we cannot access it. Your data is also included in your device backups if you have them turned on.
What we collect
Nothing. TallyKid has no accounts of its own and no servers that receive your data. It does not include analytics, advertising or tracking software, and it does not share data with third parties.
Photos
When you add photos to a game, you choose them with Apple's photo picker, which only gives TallyKid the photos you select. Copies are saved inside the app on your device. If you save a recap card to your library, TallyKid asks for permission to add that image.
Purchases
TallyKid Pro (a yearly subscription or a lifetime purchase) is bought through Apple's App Store. Apple processes the payment and manages subscriptions; we do not receive your payment details or personal information. The app checks with Apple only to confirm whether Pro is active.
Sharing and the Lock Screen
Recap cards and yearbook PDFs are created on your device. They leave it only when you choose to share or save them. The Lock Screen tally shows your game's score and stat counts on your own device's Lock Screen and Dynamic Island.
Children
TallyKid is meant for parents and guardians to use. Because the app collects no data, no information about children is sent to us.
Deleting your data
Delete any athlete, season, game or photo in the app and it is removed from your devices and your iCloud copy. To remove everything, delete the data in the app, or delete the app and remove TallyKid's data in Settings → [your name] → iCloud.
Changes
If this policy changes — for example, if sharing between two parents' Apple Accounts is added — we will update this page and the effective date above.
